Bhavyata Foundation under the initiative ‘India First’ presents a session to commemorate the Kargil War Victory of 1999 with Kargil War Veteran Colonel SK Rattan (Retd). The session will be discussed on the Terrain and the Operations. We are here with an interactive session to commemorate the Kargil War Victory of 1999 with Kargil War Veteran Colonel SK Rattan, SM (Retd). The primary purpose of this session is to encourage the participants to interact and learn more about Our Nation’s Armed Forces.

Alumni of NDA commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in Dec 1980. Achievements:
Commanded Artillery Regiment in Op Parakram.
An experienced helicopter pilot, commanded Army Aviation Flight operations in Kargil Operations (Op Vijay). Provided Aviation support at Bhuj during the Earthquake.
Deputy Director – ADG Systems in IT at Army HQ Delhi (1994 to 1997).
Director Systems at Army headquarters. Retirement from Army in January 2008, later worked in IT Programs/projects. Involved in governance, integration, business initiatives and mentoring. Executed Skill Development Projects in Punjab.
Awarded Sena Medal by the President of India, a gallantry award for his actions in Kashmir Valley.
Awarded Chief Of The Army Staff’s Commendation Card for his outstanding contributions to IT in the Indian Army.
