Slum To School

Research findings have shown that undernutrition is becoming more pervasive in urban poor, including slum dwellers, migrants, and the unskilled labour class. To provide adequate nutrition and educate and empower these families’ underprivileged children, Bhavyata Foundation started providing daily lunch meals to the 120 malnourished children to two schools of Navjeevan Prathamik Vidyamandir, Thane, Maharashtra, India.
