Farmers' financial instability and lack of fodder reduce cow yields. In this vicious chain of reduced cattle fodder, it causes the death of such breeds. Bhavyata foundation chose the necessary step to preserve desi Dangi breed cows found in hilly areas of Murbad, Thane district, at the right time. More yields mean that these villagers will be more self-sufficient, leading to the long-term preservation of our desi cow brand. Appreciating Bhavyata foundation for entering this Dangi cow breeding and preservation area. Hope this becomes the starting point of the chain and many more desi breeds like Dangi become part of their breed preservation programme in other villages across the country.
