In wake of global pandemic Covid 19 crisis besieging humanity has brought out the uncertainty of difficult times, especially for those who survive on daily wages. Under lockdown, well-off Indians isolate indoors, work from home and get groceries delivered. But outside their windows, it’s a different story: People like are basically living from hand to mouth at the best of times. Many such distraught families are in need of our help as they are unable to fetch for daily meals given that they are casual laborers, daily wage earners and migrant workers, construction workers or domestic help. Lockdowns 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 have brought unceasing poverty and hunger in many slum pockets of Mumbai.
Bhavyata Foundation took up the task of reaching all needy families, urban and rural locations, many urban which were in red zones.
We did our bit with our existing donor base and supported more than 10000 families to date.
The Coronavirus pandemic has brought life to a standstill, globally. The poor have become poorer. Many have been pushed to poverty due to loss of livelihood. With the help of generous donors and compassionate supporters like yourselves, Bhavyata Foundation has reached out to 10030 such families and counting.
Mankind needs ongoing support in a post COVID19 world. Awareness, sanitation, hygiene, preventive protocols, emergency support and immune building systems are the measures adopted in tackling this global crisis.
