Life Skills Program
The National Education Policy(NEP) aims at overhauling India’s existing education regime, making it more learner-centric with an emphasis on conceptual learning, creativity, and critical thinking. Cultivating life skills like cooperation, teamwork, empathy, and resilience should also form the basis for child development.
It focuses on improving rudimental skills needed for better living by helping students acquire psychological competency, coping with stressful conditions, and much more. In addition to this, it also helps foster social and individual responsibility. Considering these factors, Bhavyata Foundation is taking a step towards making the Curriculum of Life Skills available, courtesy: ‘My Everyday Happy Book’ by CMCA(Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness), along with teacher training and guidance.
