Promoting bamboo as a renewable resource and facilitating livelihoods for bamboo artisans in challenged demography is the function of this campaign. Bhavyata Foundation eulogizes its indelible association with its long-standing comrades – the Bamboo Artisans from the tribal villages of Chandrapur, Melghat, Palghar and Jharkhand. The function of the campaign is to encourage and promote Bamboo as a renewable resource and assist in enhancing the means of livelihood for the artisans located in the remote areas of the country.
Bhavyata Foundation promoted skills development, education & health interventions by lifestyle adaptations, social entrepreneurship, the responsible harnessing of natural resources, improvising agro-economy and technological innovations for promoting cottage industry and enhancing rural infrastructure. Bhavyata Foundation collaborated with Sampoorna Bamboo Kendra. Sampoorna Bamboo Kendra, Lawada (Melghat) is working for artisans living in inaccessible areas.
