Balvatika: Education for Underprivileged
Under the flagship of Lessons for Life initiative which focuses on experiential education, Bhavyata Foundation has taken up the operations of running 37 allotted Balwadi classes(Jr Kg and Sr Kg) in 21 Schools from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation since September 2018. We have embarked on increasing the productivity at the Balwadi by the convergence of nutrition, curiosity-driven learning and experiential tools for toddlers from age 3-6 years. We, at Bhavyata Foundation run 37 Preschool classes(Jr Kg and Sr Kg) in 21 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Schools and 50 Anganwadis in Rural and Tribal Belts of Maharashtra. We serve best quality education in early childhood to 4500+ children, especially from disadvantaged communities. Children are taught as per NEP guidelines; Phonics, Language(local as well as English), Culture, Maths, Critical Thinking, Concepts, Health and Well Being, etc. We solicit support for learning aids, festival celebrations, infrastructure upgrade and teacher training for achieving learning outcomes.
