Graphic Designing

The job description for a Graphic Designer includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics such as illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. You’ll be in charge of the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, reports, exhibitions, and other projects.

Your graphics should draw the attention of those who see them and convey the intended message. You must have a creative flair as well as a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Roles & Responsiblities

  • Examine design briefs to determine requirements
  • Create visuals based on the specifications.
  • Make rough drafts and present your ideas.
  • Create illustrations, logos, and other designs by hand or with software.
  • Use the right colours and layouts for each graphic.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and the creative director to create the final design.
  • Graphics should be tested across a variety of media.
  • After receiving feedback, revise designs to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Pre-requisites

  • Graphic design experience that has been demonstrated
  • A strong illustration or another graphic design portfolio
  • knowledge of design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • A degree in design, fine arts, or a related field is preferred.
